Al will review the basics of Internet Security: Internet Dangers, Protection Software, Safe Passwords, Secure Websites, etc. 7:45 PM - Refreshments and Member Interaction 8:00 PM - IDENTITY THEFT and E-MAIL "PHISHING" - Al Rankell "PHISHING" - sending an e-mail to a user in order to scam the user into surrendering private information that will be used for identity theft. Al will describe how "Phishing" works, what you should do about it, how to avoid being a victim, reporting "phishing" scams, and what to do if you think you have been victimized. 9:00 PM - Prize Drawing |
